As you may have noticed, VIP Photo Booths has become a major business and has kept me very, very busy. Because of this, I’ve had to put my photography on the back burner. And I’ve made the decision to close up shop for a while to focus entirely on the photo booth business. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy taking pictures and will continue to take pictures for myself and for special favors. There will be changes coming very soon to the website and this blog. Thanks for your continued support!
On Mother’s Day I took some cute family pictures of the Larned family. Since the last time I took their portraits they had another super-cute baby. We took these pictures in their backyard and they turned out soooo beautifully. I hope you like them as much as I do.

VIP Photo Booths has started it’s own blog. Head on over to http://vipphotobooths.blogspot.com and become a follower. Bookmark this new page to keep up with all the latest excitement with VIP Photo Booths!
Olentangy Liberty High School Prom | Photobooth
May 25, 2009 | Filed Under Inside the Booth | Leave a Comment
Last Saturday Olentangy Liberty asked us to be part of their prom at the Columbus Athenaeum. The theme was “Flashing Lights,” and the room was decorated with cityscapes, beautiful which drapery, and wonderfully lit tables. The DJ pumped the music loudly all night long and six hundred juniors and seniors danced all night long. And, oh yeah, the photo booth was on FIRE!!! Check out the images…
I absolutely love it when people start giggling in the booth and don’t realize their picture is being taken…

A little kissy faces??

How about some group photos?

Even the chaperones got in on the action…

And the craziness ensued…

Quite possibly my favorite picture ever taken in the booth…

A tango? In the booth?

Here fishy fishy fishy…

Thanks Liberty for a fantastic prom. We’re looking forward to 2010!
Heath High School Prom 2009 | Photobooth

Last Saturday VIP Photo Booths helped make Heath High School’s prom a “sweet” night at Cherry Valley Lodge. The evening kicked off with a promenade so that family and friends could take pictures. The evening also included a senior circle where the seniors showed off their dance moves and a candy bar, which was perfectly positioned next to the photo booth.
We were greatly impressed with everyone in attendance. They were polite and appreciative. And, we’re looking forward to coming back next year.
Buckle your seat belts; there are TONS of great pictures….

Probably my favorite picture…

I love this girl’s style. If I were to go back and do prom again, this is what I would wear. Heck, I have a very similar dress in my closet…

Lucky guy…

Ah, we <3 VIP Photo Booths too…

This guy is lucky too…

I have lived in the same town almost my entire life. I have seen the town evolve from a country village where most of my friends lived on farms to a sprawling suburb. There are several things that haven’t changed including Founders Day. This year we were asked to be part of it and we had a lot of fun. Check out some of the fantastic images…

Jeff, call me about your upcoming wedding…

Our booth was next to a self-defense team who sparred and scared us to death all day. Yeah, they loved the booth too…

Thank you Founders Day organizers for letting us be part of your fantastic event. We’re looking forward to 2010!

Last Saturday, Lindsay and Dave had the photo booth at Christy and Peter’s wedding at the Scioto Country Club. Peter and Christy’s wedding was a rockin’ party and included amazing bridal party introductions where each couple had their own entry dance and handshake. The photo booth was a huge success! There was a line the entire night and people were coming back for their second and even third trips to the booth. Special thanks to Diana who coordinated the wedding from the country club, Peter’s aunt who helped put the scrapbook together, and Cynthia who saw us on Daytime Columbus and booked us the same day.
And now, onto the good stuff…
How about a little bride and groom to start us off?

We often get asked if we’re a kissing booth. I wonder why?

Hugs are fantastic too!

The “youngest” person we’ve ever had in our photo booth–97 years young. Isn’t she beautiful?

And how about a little fun?!?!

Thanks Christy and Peter for letting us be part of your wedding.
Megan + Marc | Photobooth

A few months ago I received an email from another local photo booth company asking if they could refer a potential client to us since they were already booked on this specific date. Well, heck yeah! The bride called and after a short conversation we realized that we knew each other as my sister and I had gone to school with her sisters.
Megan and Marc’s wedding on Saturday was a lot of fun. The Creekside Event and Conference Center was beautiful and fantastic to work with. Amy and I were grateful to see old friends. And the photo booth was hopping all night! We even set a new record. Check out some of the images…
Let’s start with a little bride and groom action and their BLING BLING!!

Then how about a little flower (girl) power…

Where’s the love?

Sisters, you need a license to display those guns…

You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but …..

We set a new record on Saturday: 8 adults inside the booth!!

Thirsty?

Amy + Jennifer’s Breast Cancer 3-Day Fundraiser | Photobooth

Last Saturday we set up the photo booth on the floor of the Sunbury Skate Club for Amy and Jennifer’s Fundraiser. They are participating in the Breast Cancer 3-Day, where each of them will walk 60 miles in 3 days! Each of them must also raise $2300 to participate in the walk and hence, a party to do that. Besides skating, which was a blast, the photo booth was on fire all night as we debuted our new booth. Check out some of the images…
Please welcome one of VIP’s newest team members, Lindsay!!

I haven’t roller skated in years, but it was soooo much fun! And luckily, I didn’t fall.

Three generations of my family: my mom, my sister, and one of my nephews…

My other nephew trying to show us he’s two…

Columbus Academy’s Spring Gala | Photobooth

Last Saturday we had the honor of being a sponsor at the Columbus Academy’s Spring Gala. The party started early, ended late, and in the middle was FUN, FUN FUN!!! Just check out the images from the booth…

I ran into so many people I knew that night. The woman in the yellow (below) is a woman I once did a triathlon with…

Lucky guy…

This is the best I’ve ever seen 6 people fit in the booth…

VIP Photo Booths is so funny….

No, you’re the man!…

Would you believe I went to preschool with the girl on the right?…

Thanks to Melanie for inviting us along. We had a great time and look forward to working with you all again.
